A laser treatment program for thinning hair.
If your hairline or crown is thinning, consider Advanced Laser Therapy. Our program combines low-level laser treatment with scalp and follicle care, with the aim of supporting hair growth in suitable patients.
Book your free Hair Check to find out whether the program may suit you. Talk through the appointments, care routine and cost before deciding.
More Than a Single Laser Session
The program combines laser treatment with scalp and follicle care. At your Hair Check, talk through the recommended components, how often you would attend and the care needed between visits.
Low-Level Laser Treatment
Laser light is directed towards the scalp as a non-invasive treatment. The aim is to support existing hair growth without transplanting follicles.
Your Scalp and Hair Care Plan
Scalp and follicle care are part of the program. Find out what is recommended for your hair and which care steps to follow between appointments.
Appointments and Progress Reviews
Know how the appointments fit your routine, how progress will be reviewed and which services your quote includes before you begin.
How Does Low-Level Laser Therapy Work?
Low-level laser therapy, often shortened to LLLT, delivers low-power light to the scalp. It is used as a treatment option for pattern hair loss and may help some people achieve improved hair growth.
The aim is to support the activity of existing hair follicles. Laser therapy does not create a new supply of follicles, transplant donor hair or guarantee restoration of a completely bald area.
Advanced Hair Studio’s program considers laser treatment within a broader hair loss plan. Your assessment helps establish what is appropriate for you and which parts of the program are recommended.
Could Laser Therapy Suit Your Thinning Hair?
A thinning crown or a gradual change in hair density may be a reason to explore laser treatment. Men with pattern hair loss may be suitable, but the cause and extent of thinning need to be assessed first.
If you have sudden shedding, patchy loss or an uncomfortable scalp, medical assessment may be needed to identify the cause. Tell your expert about your health, scalp conditions and any medicines or treatments you use.

An Individual Hair Restoration Journey
Advanced Laser Therapy or an At-Home Laser Helmet?
The Advanced Laser Therapy Program
Advanced Laser Therapy is our treatment program combining laser sessions with scalp and follicle care. Talk to the team about the appointments and complete plan recommended for you.
The Advanced Laser Helmet
The Advanced Laser Helmet is a separate device designed for home use. If treatment at home appeals to you, explore its dedicated page and ask about suitability, instructions and how it might fit your plan.
The clinic program and home helmet have different instructions and inclusions. Check which option is recommended for you and what your quote covers.
Plan for Progress Over Time
Hair growth takes time. If laser therapy helps, changes develop over months rather than immediately. Your response depends on your hair loss, treatment plan and consistency.
Talk to our team about progress reviews and whether ongoing treatment may be needed to maintain any benefit. Knowing the expected routine and costs helps you plan ahead.
How Much Does Advanced Laser Therapy Cost?
Request a personalised quote showing the included appointments and services, course length and any additional or ongoing costs. Consider the total cost and time involved before starting.
Explore Your Other Hair Restoration Options
The right approach starts with your hair loss and your priorities. Compare male hair loss treatments or discuss these options during your Hair Check.
Growth Factors
Explore Growth Factors PRP hair treatment for men as a separate option involving scalp injections. Any proposed combination needs individual assessment; PRP is not automatically included in a laser therapy program.
Strand-By-Strand® Hair Transplant
Explore Strand-By-Strand® Hair Transplant if you are considering surgical restoration. Ask how the included six-month laser program relates to your transplant plan and what follow-up care involves.
Epidermal Infusion
Explore Epidermal Infusion if you would prefer to discuss non-surgical hair replacement. It offers a different approach to restoring the appearance of hair, with its own care and maintenance requirements.

Laser Hair Growth Treatment FAQs
What is LLLT for hair loss?
LLLT means low-level laser therapy. It delivers low-power light to the scalp with the aim of supporting hair growth in suitable patients. It is one treatment option for pattern hair loss, rather than a solution for every cause of thinning.
Is this the same as laser hair removal?
No. Laser hair removal aims to reduce unwanted hair. Advanced Laser Therapy uses low-level laser light with the aim of supporting hair growth. The equipment and treatment instructions are different.
When might I see a change?
Any improvement develops over months and varies from person to person. Your treating team can discuss realistic expectations and when to review your progress.
Does laser treatment hurt, and are side effects possible?
Low-level laser therapy is non-invasive and is generally well tolerated, but it should not be described as risk-free. Light therapy can cause temporary irritation or discomfort in some people. Discuss your health, light sensitivity and any device-specific precautions before treatment.
How often will I need sessions?
The number and length of sessions depend on your program and the equipment used. Check your schedule during assessment and follow the instructions for that program. The home helmet has its own instructions; do not increase treatment frequency without advice.
Is an Advanced Laser Helmet included?
The home helmet is a separate device option. Ask your consultant to identify which equipment, appointments and services are included in your proposed program and quote.
Will I need to continue treatment?
Ongoing sessions may be needed to maintain any benefit. Discuss the likely routine, review schedule and maintenance costs before starting, so you understand the longer-term commitment.
Can laser therapy be combined with PRP or a transplant?
It may form part of an individually assessed plan alongside other services. Growth Factors PRP and hair transplantation are separate procedures with their own suitability, risks and costs. Confirm which treatments are recommended and included for you.
